In the first one-on-one session we meet and discuss your fitness goals, your current daily habits, go through the very basic movements of crossfit and once you decide to continue with us, we find the best way to move forward.
We are certified Level 1 and Level 2 Crossfit trainers with an experience of 9+ years as strength & conditioning coaches.
We started with the first Crossfit affiliate in Cairo back in 2011. Once we moved to Cluj-Napoca in 2015, we founded our affiliate Crossfit ARKA continuing our Crossfit journey here in Romania until the present.
Today we are ARKA Strength & Conditioning and we are grateful to continue doing what we are passionate about: making a difference in peoples lives through building healthy habits and supporting our athletes in their fitness and nutrition progress.
Our mission is to help everyone who enters our doors to become the fittest version of themselves. We achieve this by creating a supportive and diverse environment in which you can train comfortably along side people from all walks of life.
In any of our sessions you will find teenagers, moms, stay at home parents, high level executives, crossfit competitors, currently overweight people working towards their goals while supporting each other as a community.
Arka is about people who want more out of life than just go through the day without reaching their full potential.
We apply a strength and conditioning program consisting of movements and exercises from gymnastics, weight lifting and endurance sports. The aim of our programming is to increase work capacity in all fitness domains, such as, endurance, stamina, strength, power, speed and flexibility.
The movements included in our prorgam are all functional movements, they apply in real life just as much as they do in the gym. We use our bodies to push, pull, squat and carry -lighter or heavier- loads, because this is what we all need to do in our lives as healthy human beings.
During our classes we start with a General Warm-up followed by Specific Warm-Up. This prepares our athletes for the Skill/Strength part. In the Skill part we focus on practicing the correct technique for each exercise we use in our programming, while for the Strength we work on building the base to support these exercises.
We finish with a workout of the day (WOD) performed at a relatively high intensity and adapted to each ones abilities.
The WOD is different each day, while a monthly program cycle will cover all fitness elements.

At Arka we aim to give everyone the opportunity to become the fittest version of themselves. Whether you join our group training sessions or prefer to train individually, we are committed to provide you with a great experience, every time.
We program your workouts, instruct movements, scale or adjust the workout if necessary, offer nutritional suggestions, and are committed to each client every time you walk in the door. Our group sessions are the equivalent of semi-personal training.
Our extended gym schedule allows you to train at your convenience. Whether one-on-one with a personal trainer, where you benefit from customized programs suited to your fitness level and goals, or on your own, during Open Gym hours. You are also welcome to attend our Yoga classes, designed specifically for athletes.
